Muttukadu
Muttukadu is a beautiful coastal settlement along the East Coast Road, approximately 36 km south of Chennai city centre. It is best known for the Muttukadu Boathouse, operated by the Tamil Nadu Tourism Development Corporation (TTDC), which offers boating on the Muttukadu backwaters. The area is a popular day-trip destination for Chennaiites, with several beach resorts, adventure sports facilities, and seafood restaurants lining the ECR.
